We're a chai shop in Lomita, not a data business. We collect the least we can get away with, and we don't sell any of it. Last updated 29 August 2026.
We ask for your first name, phone number and email so we can make your order, tell you when it's ready, and find you if something goes wrong. If you choose curbside we also ask for the colour and make and model of your car — only so we can walk out to the right one. We don't ask for your licence plate. It's stored with the order.
Your contact details, the event date, roughly how many guests, and anything you tell us in the notes. We keep the quote we send you so both sides have a record of what was agreed.
Orders stay in our dashboard so we can look up a past order or sort out a problem — currently the most recent 2,000, after which older ones drop off automatically. Catering requests are kept while the booking is live and for our own records afterwards. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
That's the lot. No advertising networks, no data brokers, nobody who pays us for it.
We only email you about your own order or quote — a confirmation when you order, or that a quote is waiting. That's the lot: no newsletters, no offers, no marketing mail, and nothing you have to unsubscribe from. We don't send text messages at all.
No advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. Your browser keeps your cart and your last order so the site works. We count anonymous visits and which items people look at, so we know what to make more of — that's tied to a random session id, not to you.
Ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it — email hello@schaiwallah.com or call (424) 378‑1017 and we'll sort it out. If you're in California, the CCPA gives you these rights formally; we'd do it anyway.
This site isn't aimed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their details.
We'll update this page and change the date at the top. Chai Wallah, 25711 Eshelman Ave #A, Lomita, CA 90717.
